Welcome to the Flinders Street Market*
Open every weekend of the year in the heart of Adelaide city.
This lovely little community market specialises in unique, boutique and artisan stalls run by local makers, creators, growers, bakers and collectors.
We aim to be Adelaide’s best handmade, homegrown and vintage gift market.
• The Conditions of Entry are subject to Flinders Street Market Management.
• A breach of The Rules or Conditions of Entry may result in immediate ejection of the stall holder and termination of the licence to use the stall, with no right of refund for fees.
• Management reserves the right to refuse entry to any person.
• Management reserves the right to refuse sale of any item or range of items.
• Each stall holder agrees to indemnify Flinders Street Market against all claims for damages or injury to the property or person of any persons in respect of any claim by any such person arising out of negligence on the part of the stall holder or their agents or servants.
• You allow Flinders Street Market to use any photographs from your social media pages to help promote you and the market.
• Flinders Street Market accepts no liability for the loss or damage of any kind suffered by any person who enters the Market area and all persons who enter the Market area do so at their own risk.
• All onsite electrical equipment must be tested and tagged by an electrician. Powered stalls only run devices that draw 10amp power.
• All stall holders must vacate the Market grounds by 4.00pm.
• The stall holder enters and operates the relevant stand at its own risk.
• If we notice that you are booked on the same day as a stall with similar products, we may contact you and ask you to reschedule.
• Site placement is at the discretion of the Market Manager and may vary weekly according to the market's operational requirements.
• All food / produce must be compliant with local and state food handling legislation. Non compliant stalls may be asked to cease trading until legislative requirements are met.
• Stall holders must remove all rubbish at the conclusion of trade.
• Stall holders booked for a market day must have their stall open for the duration of that market day, even in the event of the product selling out.
Cancellations
• There are no refunds for cancellations.• If you need to reschedule your stall you must contact us at least 14 days before the market day.
• There is no refund or rebooking allowed for cancellations or for failure to show up to a booked event.
• Should your stall not meet our terms and conditions, we may terminate future bookings and issue a full refund.
• We reserve the right to refuse space to stallholders that don’t meet our terms and conditions.
Prohibited stalls
Stalls selling the following products are prohibited from attending Flinders Street Markets: religious or political agendas, pyramid selling schemes, live birds or animals, fakes or copies of designer brand goods, weapons, items associated with the illegal use of drugs, or other items that the market management may consider unsuitable for the market. No offensive, counterfeit or unauthorised products may be sold.Hot Weather Conditions
• If the weather forecast is 38 degrees or above for more than 3 days in a row, then a market will be cancelled.• In the event of a hot weather cancellation, stallholders will be issued a refund or the opportunity to reschedule.
• Market cancellations will be announced on social media.
